1945-1979, suicide. Recommended reading: Simon Sheridan's Come Play With Me: The Life And Films Of Mary Millington (FAB Press, 1999). Not only a superb and sympathetic account of Mary's life and films, but also a mine of useful information on those films in general and the other performers in them. Highly readable. Shorts were for John Lindsay and Russell Gay, about 18 in all.
