Pretty Good, but slow delivery, October 10, 2008

I had high hopes about this site as it is part of the normally excellent Simply the Best group. And to be fair their prices for R18 vids are pretty competitive, in fact often a bit cheaper than on their sister sites.
However I do not consider that the 28 days my order took to arrive to be acceptable, when 10 days is about the norm for this group of sites. Maybe I was just unfortunate on this occasion.

I think r18dvd are bad beyond belief !, October 31, 2005

I placed my first order with r18dvd Ten days ago I was sent confirmation of my order 2 days later since then I have tried without success to find out what has happened to my order I e-mailed r18dvd three days ago I still have not had a reply my opinion of r18dvd what do you think ! Look elsewhere do not bother with r18dvd.

** NOTE ** THE FOLLOWING RESPONSE HAS BEEN RECEIVED FROM THE "R18 DVD SHOP" WEBMASTER:
"I feel I must respond to this review, which I consider is unfair. Our standard shipping time from the day we authorise a credit card (this will be the day after an order is placed, except for orders placed on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, in which case a card will be authorised on the Monday) to delivery is 5-7 working days (excluding holidays and weekends). This customer placed his order on Saturday 22 October. His card was charged on Monday 24 October, and delivery would therefore be 5-7 working days from the 24th, which would be between 31/10 and 2/11. I cannot therefore understand why he complained about non delivery on the 28th (an email we did not receive), or indeed on the 31st. We really would like to deliver quicker than 5-7 working days, but with not being allowed by UK law to be based within the UK, it is just about impossible. We still feel however that we offer a good service at a very good price, with all of our dvds selling at £15 and no shipping charges."
Any further issues arising from this review should be conducted via private correspondence, or on the BGAFD Forum.

first time of ordering and it was simple and easy to follow...the item wasn't currently in stock but...I was informed of this and within two days of it comming in i recieved it...great service..thanks

They let me know that what I ordered was not in stock but kept me up to date. Ended up being less than a week! Excellent and very good prices too!

Delvery times are very good (next day if Post Office cooperates). Responded to my minor query via E-mail very promptly. Very good service if you require original R18 films.
